Form and positional tolerances See DIN ISO 2768–K. Flats, hexagons, slots, cross drillings, etc., will not show a defined position to one another, unless there is an angular specification. Angle tolerances A tolerance of ± 2° applies to all angles without tolerance indication in the drawing. The ISO 2768 - General Tolerances Package provides the permissible deviations of angular and linear dimensions applicable to broken and non broken edges. The permissible deviations are defined to fine, medium, coarse and very coarse tolerance classes. This package includes ISO 2768-1:1989 and ISO 2768-2:1989.

General tolerances for linear measures and level squares with four tolerance classes are useful for simplifying drawings.
By choosing the tolerance class precision levels common in workshops should be taken into account.

If smaller tolerances are needed or bigger ones are more economical,
then these tolerances are indicated next to the nominal size.
